CREATURE FEATURES!
December 19 - 23
  Campers will take a virtual trip around the world in order to learn about Creature Features.  Through the fun of crafts, up-close animal encounters, and behind-the-scenes tours, they will learn about what animals are covered in (fur, feathers, etc.) and how it helps them survive in different climates around the world. 
 
DIG IN!
December 26 - 30
  Dig In to learn about things that sprout, dig, burrow and make dirt!  Campers will enjoy learning about the Zoo's and worlds "winter" animals through games, crafts, up-close animal encounters, and behind-the-scenes tours. 
 
Winter Camp requires pre-registration.  You can register in person at Atascadero City Hall (805) 461-5000.  Please call the Education Department for more information at 470-3172.
 

WINTER ZOO CAMP

The Zoo offers a Winter Zoo Camp during the school break: join us for some WILD Winter Break fun! Campers will enjoy learning about the Zoo's animals through games, crafts, up-close animal encounters, and behind-the-scenes tours. Each camper receives a Zoo Camp t-shirt and snacks will be provided. Please bring a refillable drink container & a bag lunch. Boxed lunches & additional t-shirts are available for purchase.
