Session Descriptions:
Legends and Lore: Learn more about the role that animals have played throughout history –mythical beasts in ancient fairy tales; legendary creatures seldom, if ever, seen; and mysterious, yet elusive animals that are still being discovered.
Habitats: Find out what makes a happy home for the wild things of the world – from searing hot, dry, deserts to steaming marshes, from desolate frozen tundra to the Amazon – each of these areas is home to hundreds of species that wouldn’t want to live anywhere else! Learn how special adaptations by these creatures make living “in the extreme” possible.
Rainforests: Most of us know a little about the rainforests of the world, but in order to fully appreciate the wonder of these fragile ecosystems and their furry, scaled, and feathered residents, a little more information is a very good thing – learn which elements make up a healthy rainforest, and how we can make a positive difference in preserving these treasures of the world.
Globetrotters: Our popular “trip around the world” is back, no visa or vaccinations required. Our imaginary journey to the wildest places on Earth will introduce you to the sights, sounds (and maybe even smells,) of the world’s distant places and the animals that live there.
