School Programs

What? Interactive, age-appropriate classes featuring live animal ambassadors! Teachers, PTA's, Parent Groups and School Administrators can schedule a variety of educational programs for school classes or groups at your location or ours.

Where? Offered to school classes and home-school groups within 100 miles of the Charles Paddock Zoo in Atascadero, California.

Who? Curriculum-based programs are available for ages 3 through grade 6. Maximum group size for classes is 30 students. Please contact the Education Department at 805-461-5080 for information regarding programs for larger groups.

Standards: Classes are aligned with the Science Content Standards for California Public Schools.

Fees: Vary based on length of each presentation. Please see the class descriptions for specific costs of programs. Program fees must be received 7 days in advance of the program date.
