School Programs

 

“EDU-taining” animal presentations - where the zoo visits you!

What? Interactive, age-appropriate programs featuring bio-facts and LIVE animal ambassadors! Teachers, PTA's, Parent Groups, Home School Groups and School Administrators can schedule a variety of educational programs for school classes or groups at your location or ours. Please see the Program Descriptions page for the programs currently offered.

Where? Offered to groups of up to 30 people on zoo grounds or within 100 miles of the Charles Paddock Zoo in Atascadero, California.

Who? Curriculum-based programs are available for preschool through upper grades. Maximum group size for classes is 30 students. Please contact the Education Department at 805-470-3172 for information regarding programs for larger groups.

Standards: Programs are aligned with the Science Content Standards for California Public Schools.

Fees: Vary based on location of each presentation. Please see the Program Fees page for specific costs. Program fees are due on or before the date of the program.
