A Zoo Birding Expedition
Go Wild! Go Birding! In honor of World Migratory Bird Day, come to the Charles Paddock Zoo to explore tools and techniques needed to become avid birders. IMBD celebrates the journey of migratory birds as they make passage between their breeding grounds in North America and their wintering grounds in Central South America. So, bring your binoculars and migrate over to the zoo to learn about the voyage of birds. Your expedition will include a walk around the lake to see our native birds and a journey through the zoo to learn about our more exotic species.
